MISSION, VISION AND OBJECTIVES

Vision

​By 2028, the Philippine Board of Pain Medicine will be recognized as a leading accrediting and certifying body in pain medicine and palliative care in South-East Asia.

Objectives

1.To administer a certifying examination to eligible candidates for the subspeciality of pain medicine and palliative care.

2.To confer to successful candidates the title of Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Pain Medicine (DPBPM).

3.To standardize the curriculum of pain medicine and palliative care in training institutions.

4.To accredit more training programs for medical specialists in the subspecialty of pain medicine and palliative care.

5.To publicize the certification status of medical specialists in pain medicine and palliative care.

6.To secure accreditation of the diplomates of the Philippine Board of Pain Medicine from state- and private-fund insurance.
